Zagrebačka banka is a universal bank incorporated and domiciled in the Republic of Croatia. It has been part of the UniCredit Group since 2002 and is one of the leading banks in the region.

The bank has a long-standing presence in the Croatian market. Zagrebacˇka banka began its operations back in 1914 as the City Savings Bank. It changed its name into Zagreb City Savings Bank in 1946, doing business under this name until the 1960s.

It was then incorporated into Zagreb Municipal Bank, which was soon renamed Credit Bank and became a part of the Commercial Bank Association in Zagreb.

In the early 1970s, Zagreb Credit Bank and Jugobank merged into Zagrebacˇka banka. In 1989, Zagrebacˇka became the first bank in Yugoslavia to go through the privatisation process and became a joint stock company.
